Question???

Does anyone know what policies are in effect for bullying in the K12 school system. My son is in Junior high and I don't see any policies to prevent kids from being bullied. If some one would like to enlighten all of us, I would appreciate it. There's a lot of talk about it but I don't see any proof of it!  Believe me, there is a lot of bullying going on and NO-ONE is addressing it the way it should be. There should be a physical body to go to in school to help and investigate any problems of this type. Some one needs to be held accountable for this lack of addressing situations that potentially could get out of hand! COME ON GIVE ME YOUR THOUGHTS??????

Strictly My Own Opinion

I'm sitting here watching the Democratic debate, I notice that they dwell on the important issues at hand. Gun laws, education, economic problems, foreign affairs. I watched the republican debate the other night and I really am in AWWW of what I saw. I'm really not sure what I saw but it didn't resemble the Democratic debate. I only have one question for the Republican candidates. If I came to you with a business proposal and it didn't have a detailed meticulous description of what I am proposing, I am quite sure it would be rejected. Pardon me but, I'm not seeing a detailed meticulous description of what you will do for the american people so why are we dwelling on body parts and bullying tactics to gain an allegiance to the cause. This is just my opinion but I am sure there is other people out there who are asking the same things. I don't want to sound condescending but I am retired and on a fixed income and I am scared for what comes in the future. Good luck to 
all of the candidates.

Something I learned from my Father God Rest His Sole!

I had a business at one time and I used to outsource things to get things that I couldn't handle done. The person I used was good at his job but was obnoxious to most people he dealt with.I guess you could say that this was his way of bullying people. But my Dad told me this" Son don't burn your bridges behind you! Always leave someone or somebody with a positive feeling about you! You never know when you may not have any choice but to call them or use their services again. I'm not saying you have to go out to dinner with them but at least use care how you treat them!" I guess the Golden Rule applies?? Dr. Phil said it best" You teach people how to treat you" and I agree 100%. If you look at the current events of today, you will see this applies more than you'll ever know!

A little help from my friends

You know you have probably heard a lot of stories about bullying but I bet no-one has heard your story. So what's it gonna be? Do you want to talk about it or do you want to hide from it like most people do? If you can't be part of the solution then you must be part of the problem??? Come on, we are all in this together. I'm a baby boomer and before I go, I want to do some damage to the Bully's out there! Let this be your platform for those who need you!
